Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using tanjiren.app, the Tanjiren desktop application, or the Tanjiren mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Tanjiren ("we", "us").

2. The Service

Tanjiren is a developer tool that provides a multi-agent terminal grid with remote access. It allows you to run and monitor AI coding agents on your desktop and access them from any device.

Your code stays on your machine. The Service connects to your desktop - it does not upload, store, or proxy your source code through our servers.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. Notify us promptly at support@tanjiren.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission.
• Use the relay infrastructure to proxy unrelated traffic.

5. Plans and payments

Paid plans may be billed monthly or annually and renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time - access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Software

The desktop application is proprietary software. By downloading it, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for its intended purpose. The software is provided "as is" and may include open-source components governed by their respective licenses.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by Tanjiren. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over your code, terminal output, or content.

8. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. For paid features, we will provide at least 30 days' notice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
